CORD Friday Playlist #3

Kicking off the weekend with some sleek, chilled D&B from Wilkinson.  Now calling Andy C’s Ram Records home, this young  UK producer is next in line for  household D&B fame.

Kyla La Grange has been building her reputation for the last few years and has recently sold out the Hoxton Square Bar and Grill. As a result the sultry, purple haired Grange will be playing another London gig Hackney’s new venue, Oslo on May 27th. You’ll probably want to buy a ticket after listening to Cut Your Teeth.

Montana is taken from Tycho’s forthcoming release, Awake on Ghostly International on March 18th.  By the sound of things it’s going to pick up smoothly where his 2012 album Dive left off.

Sylvan Esso are an American duo who will bowl you over their gentle mix of earthy vocals and spine rumbling bass.

And rounding things off with a dash of psychedelia from Aussie tripper, Jay Watson of Tame Impala and POND fame. Stepping out alone under the moniker, GUM, Growin’ Up is every bit as brilliant as his works delivered with his bands, further cementing his place as one of the greatest Aussie musicians.
