From Sound Innovation to Showcase.. CORD Takes The Stage at JWT

Thursday 24th October saw CORD take over Knightsbridge as we took the stage at not one, but TWO different events at the JWT office in the space of 12 hours!

The start of the day was all business as we took part in the JWT Intersection digital seminar.. Following some great talks on sound’s role in changing the way we perceive and sense – from temperature to taste – it was CORD’s time to shine! We made our way on the stage with laptop, projector and playable fruit (the everyday essentials for any presentation) to demonstrate how sound and technology can be used by brands to connect with consumers on an immersive and experiential level.

Mid-afternoon smoothies in hand (so you know those bananas didn’t go to waste) we ventured upstairs to set up the Comms for our Showcase! The bar was already buzzing by 5.30pm and we kicked off soon after with a hat-trick of great sets. We shimmied to some smooth electro pop from Breen ( and marvelled at Billie Black’s ultra-smooth electro R&B ( with an interlude by JWT’s very own Toby Chiswick, who braved a bout of man flu to treat us to some great acoustic ballads.

Sadly before we knew it, it was time to call it a day…  thanks to all who came and spent the day with us! And to those who missed it, don’t worry –  it won’t be long before CORD takes the stage again…
