CORD Friday Playlist #31

With the distinct feeling that the weather has taken a defiant move into spring-proper, this week’s playlist comes with fuzzy, warm vibe perfect for sunny afternoons.

Californian solo artist Day Wave’s latest track may be called Drag but it’s actually rather sunny. Meanwhile in Macclesfield, after many months of silence guitar-champs Racing Glaciers have released a new slow-burning anthem What I Saw. And in Austin, the front-man of White Demin, James Petralli has been working on a solo project; Bop English. Struck Matches is a peppy little rock number taken from his record, Constant Bop out next week. Lo-fi Aussie rockers Dart have released a second single, Aeroplane from their debut album out in May. And switching the vibe a little with Brighton’s Kudu Blue. Bones is a gorgeous horizontal piece of jazz-infused electronica.
